An awesome fellow health coach Ashley Craft blogged about her pumpkin pie smoothie recipe and I knew I had to try it. My kids love just about anything made with pumpkin.
(Makes one very large smoothie or 2-3 smaller kid-sized ones)
1/2 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. almond milk
2 dates, pitted
1/2 banana, frozen
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup ice
1 tsp. vanilla
optional: candied pecans (we didn’t try these)
Add all ingredients in a blender. (I use a my new Blendtec – love it!) Blend until smooth.
Rating: A. This tastes EXACTLY like pumpkin pie, but it’s super healthy for you!
